This museum has been Wales’s most popular heritage attraction for many years. It holds a special place in the hearts of the people of Wales.

Since 1948 over forty original buildings from different historical periods have been re-erected in the 100-acre parkland, among them houses, a farm, a school, a chapel and a splendid Workmen's Institute.

Barry Island

Amelia Trust Farm
Based in the Vale of Glamorgan, the Amelia Trust Farm is a countryside sanctuary for all to enjoy.
As a registered charity, it provides therapeutic support to disadvantaged and vulnerable people in a farm setting and there are more than 20 different creatures.
Open to the public every day except Christmas Day (from 10am until last entry at 4pm) as well as the animals, there are woodland walks, play areas and a café.
